Here's the Plan
Our Challenge starts on Monday, April 7, 2008. If you want to join us in this challenge you will need to click on this link: http://www.ministryplanet.net/sites/e100/Individuals From there you will be able to find all of the resources you will need for free. Our goal is to read five stories a week. This gives us two days off to catch up or take a breath. Please blog as often as you would like. LeRay and Jennifer will post the questions from the discussion guide, but feel free to comment on anything you wish. We are so excited to see what God has in store for us, the "Bible Blogging Sisters!"

I know I am jumping ahead, but that is me, rule breaker! My pastor read this story on Mother's Day and discussed how Ruth's characteristics are the same of a great mother. She is devoted, selfless, and kind. This service was hard because my best friend lost her mom early Sunday morning. I could not help but think of how she needed a "Ruth" right now. I believe God spoke to me and said, "Today you are Ruth." I had to put my selfishness aside and be at her side to care for her needs. Luckily I did not have to work in the fields, but I was able to keep her children while she made arragements for her mother. This was not the plan I had made for my mother's day, but it all worked out just perfect. Just as it did for Ruth in the bible. This was not exactly the plan she had laid out for herself, but it worked out just perfectly.
