Day 37 King Solomon

King Solomon (1 Kings 2:1—3:28)

How would you honestly answer if God said to you, "Ask for whatever
you want me to give you"?
What are the greatest sources of wisdom in your life?

I love this story. I hope that if given the opportunity to have anything I want I would choose wisely. Some days I am just not sure. Would financial freedom allow me the opportunity to do God's work more effectivly? This is the question I would struggle with. Of course if I had wisdom I would not worry about the answers to such questions. Wise people in my life...my husband and my grandmother are two that I turn to the most.

Not sure what I would ask for, but I fear it would not have been wisdom had I not known this story. I agree with Jenn...wise people. I would have to say my husband is a very wise man, and I am truly thankful to God for that many times over. Also, I would consider my mother-in-law a woman full of wisdom.

Here's the Plan

Our Challenge starts on Monday, April 7, 2008. If you want to join us in this challenge you will need to click on this link: http://www.ministryplanet.net/sites/e100/Individuals From there you will be able to find all of the resources you will need for free. Our goal is to read five stories a week. This gives us two days off to catch up or take a breath. Please blog as often as you would like. LeRay and Jennifer will post the questions from the discussion guide, but feel free to comment on anything you wish. We are so excited to see what God has in store for us, the "Bible Blogging Sisters!"
